There is an opportunity to enhance disaster resilience by building safe, resilient homes with climate-resistant materials and designs, while also integrating basic services solutions, and gender equality, disability and social inclusion (GEDSI). This would significantly reduce the vulnerability of low-income families to climate-related disasters, improving their safety and well-being.
