Annual Staff Meeting

Last April 30 – May 2, 2019, all Habitat for Humanity Cambodia staff attended the Annual Staff Meeting and Retreat

The Annual Staff Meeting is the time to go back to the drawing board and review the projects of Habitat Cambodia in terms of its challenges, achievements, and lessons learned before the fiscal year ends, to help plan for the incoming fiscal year that will start in July 2019.

Special topics are also discussed to aid Habitat Cambodia plan for the incoming fiscal year. Here, the staff also learned the Global Water and Sanitation, Hygiene strategy and discussed ways how to adapt and further strengthen the strategy in the local context. The staff also had a review of Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, to ensure that everyone is knowledgeable, will practice proper behavior and know how to approach difficult related issues in any given situation. Orientation on Explosive Remnants of War (ERWs) was also given to ensure that Habitat Cambodia’s commitment to safety will be enhanced.

The Annual Staff Meeting and Retreat is supported by several Habitat for Humanity offices – Australia, Netherlands, and Singapore.
